Here are some testimonies of a few members from Old Paths Bible Baptist Church of Kitwe, Zambia AFRICA.




Jacob Lunshi
I am a member of the Old Paths Bible Baptist Church of Kitwe, Zambia. Before I came to Old Path I was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. That was since I was born until 2002, April 5. That was when I got saved. I was lead to the Lord by Pastor Damon Matacchiera. I am happy I am now saved by the blood of Christ; not by works or by baptism or anything else. They don't have anything to do with salvation. I am helping in the church right now by setting the sound and song leading. We as a church go out to give the gospel to those that don't have it- and that is very good. And I am even happy for the mother church where Pastor Damon came from, because without them sending missionaries, most of us that are saved right now wouldn't have salvation right now. Thank you very much.




Mweowa Mwansa
I was lead to the Lord by Pastor Damon Mataccheira in 2001. From that time my life and Christian service with Old Paths Bible Baptist Church has been very good. My spiritual life has grown. Before I got saved, I used to go to the Jehovah's Witnesses and I didn't know the way to heaven. In short, I wasn't saved. But thank God for sending the Matacchiera family and I thank Gof for using people like Damon who led me to the Lord. Praise be to God.




Calvin Makece
I came to Old Paths Bible Baptist Church on the twenty-third of July, 2003. I was saved on the tenth of September, 2003. Before I was saved, I trusted faith plus works. But now I know it is faith alone. And right now I am in the Bible Institue and have completed the book of James and am in the music class, that is Music I. We are in Romans and right now we are doing Doctrine. I praise the Lord for the things He is doing in my life. I go evangelizing on the streets every day. While I am at school I also share God's Word with my fellow students. God has helped me to not be afraid when I speak of Him. The Holy Spirit convicts and they are responding. They also realize that it is not faith plus works, but trusting in Jesus Christ and two of my fellow students have gotten saved. All that God has done in my life I appreciate, and I will continue living faithful to God no matter what.




Chaluba Lombwe
I got saved last year, but I don't remember the exact day. I go to Old Paths Bible Baptist Church because I have found a home- it is a home for me, and I like it.




Elvis Ngandu
I was saved 2002 the day of November twenty-fourth, and I am just glad God saved me and for the gift of eternal life. And I thank the Lord for using Pastor Damon because he is the one that lead me to the Lord. I thank him for that and I thank him for being obedient to God and following God's call to this place- that is Africa, Zambia. And I would like to say that I come to Old Paths Bible Baptist Church, it is a good church, a Bible believing church. The most important thing is that the people here are growing spiritually. Not only me, but I can see it in other members, too. People are on fire for God. I am thankful for that.
